Mission: Increase English language gender clarity by reducing ambiguity thru Vylz-e Protocol |
|
|
A special note to students and educators. Students, try using Vylz-e. Vylz-e will sound unusual in the beginning because it is exactly that: not usual. Let me know what you like and don't like so I may improve the protocol, but try it for a couple weeks to let the newness burn off. New things are called new because they are not usual. Ask your teacher or professor or TA if you can try vylz-e for a period of time, and give your instructor the vylz.org url so they'll understand the syntax and semantics. If your instructor does not grant permission, and you still want to try a gender-free vocabulary, ask your instructor for an alternative. You certainly have my permission to use vylz-e. :-) Teachers, professor, TA's and educators, let your students try Vylz protocol. Perhaps even encourage them to try it out as an exercise to solve the gender-free-vocabulary problem. Use the Vylz-e protocol table 2 above for syntax and semantics to check students work. Let me know how the experiment went so that I may improve the protocol. |
